Lamia Farhana Shikder holds a Master’s degree in Life Systems Science from the Graduate School of Comprehensive Scientific Research, Prefectural University of Hiroshima, Japan. Her academic background is in plant cell engineering, with her Master’s research focusing on plant cells with medicinal properties. At Leave a Nest, she develops programs that support early-career researchers in exploring their career paths and connecting their research with society. She also connects researchers, startups, and diverse stakeholders across Japan and overseas to promote research translation, international collaboration, and new business creation. She aims to connect people and countries through science as a common language, beyond linguistic and cultural boundaries.
