Japan

矢澤 大志
新潟県出身。京都大学大学院工学研究科都市環境工学専攻修了、博士(工学)。英語教授法(TESOL)学位保持。日本や東南アジアの河川や湖沼流域の統合的管理に関する研究に従事する中、現場での環境教育の必要性を感じ、現地住民・研究者と環境について共に学び育む”環境共育”の概念を確立、研究している。環境共育をプロジェクトとして世界中の現場へ適用したいと考えリバネスへ入社。

濱田 有希
神奈川県出身。千葉工業大学大学院工学研究科未来ロボティクス専攻修士課程修了(工学修士)。在学中は三輪車型移動ロボットの姿勢を一定に保ちながら狭隘不整地を走破するための制御について研究していた。中学生の頃に学校で参加したリバネスのDNA鑑定実験教室がきっかけでインターンシップを経て2022年に入社。

吉川 綾乃
東京都出身。麻布大学大学院環境保健学研究科修士課程修了(環境保健科学修士)。在学中は両生類を用いてマイクロプラスチック吸着化学物質の毒性影響について研究していた。また中学校・高等学校理科の教員免許を取得した。環境問題と教育を学ぶ中で研究を通じて環境教育を学校教育に盛り込み、課題解決に向けての何か橋をかけたいと考え2022年に入社。

八木 佐一郎
滋賀県出身。東京大学大学院薬学系研究科博士後期課程修了(薬学博士)。在学中はラットの海馬神経細胞の活動と学習の関係を調べる研究に従事。研究者の閉鎖的なネットワークや膨大な先行研究の把握に課題を感じ、研究者が研究に集中できない環境にあると考えた。サイエンスブリッジコミュニケーターが課題解決の糸口になると考え、2021年に入社。

佐藤 弘美
東京都出身。高校での簿記の勉強が楽しく在学中に資格取得、資格を生かしつつ前職で経理、労務、総務などのバックオフィス業務を経験した。部署にとらわれず、色々な仕事を幅広く経験でき更なるスキルアップを目指すべくリバネスキャピタルへ入社。

岩尾 みゆき
神奈川県出身。立教大学文学部英米文学科卒業。卒業後、都市銀行での個人融資営業、コーチング会社でのコーチ・営業、人事ソリューション会社で研修運営に従事。以前より社会貢献を仕事にしたいと願っており、経営理念に強く共感しリバネスキャピタルに入社。

倉野 衣久枝
愛知県出身。東京農工大学大学院農学府共生持続社会学専攻卒業。在学中は、農業市場学研究室に所属し、新規就農者の定着について研究した。卒業後、民間企業と地方公務員(農学職)を経て、科学技術の発展の支援に関わりたいと思い入社。

望月 史子
神奈川県出身。大学では法律を学ぶ。卒業後、企業の信用調査会社、金融系シンクタンク、レジャー施設運営企業と異業種での転職を経験。その中で、企業調査員、外回り営業、雑誌の編集、サービス開拓、広報、広告制作、集客企画、新ホテル計画推進、グランピング施設立ち上げなど幅広にさまざまな職種に従事。経験を活かし、地球貢献につながる「面白いこと」ができないかと思いMANNに入社。

Singapore

Chui Kang Xiang Ryan
Born and raised in Singapore. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and majored in Biological Science with a Second Major in Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology from Nanyang Technological University. While studying he have also worked in the education industry for 7 years as a tutor, teaching both home classes and large size tuition classes. He joined Leave a Nest Singapore, Education Development Division on 1st June 2022. He joined Leave a Nest to better the education system in Singapore, moving away from traditional beliefs in grades and enabling students to understand that they too can use their knowledge to benefit our society.

Thamizvanan Sivakumar
Graduated with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and specialised in Advanced Manufacturing, awarded with Honours with Distinction from National University of Singapore (NUS). Previously, he obtained his first degree in Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering (Honours) from National University of Singapore (NUS) as well. During his Master and Bachelor degree, his research included inkjet 3D printing using Graphene and Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM). He joined Leave a Nest because he likes the corporate mission. He gained from society whatever he has now. He also wants to give back to society. He feels Leave a Nest is a good platform to work with the Science and Technology for Global Happiness.

Malaysia

Suzianti Iskandar Vijaya
Dr. Suzianti was a recipient of the Japanese Government's Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholarship. She studied microbial molecular genetics at Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), where she received her PhD in 2018. Previously, she worked at the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) as a researcher focusing on agriculture R&D, especially crops disease diagnostics and agrigenomics. Having experienced first hand the challenges when adopting technology in the agriculture field, she is determined to transform the current landscape towards advancing technology in the Malaysian agriculture sector. She joined Leave a Nest Malaysia, Research Development Division in January 2022.

Aisyah Abdul Hamid
Dr. Aisyah was awarded with the Monbukagakusho (MEXT) scholarship for her Master degree in Biological Sciences at Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan, and her works focused on membrane protein crystallization. Previously, she obtained Bachelor and Master degree in Biotechnology. After graduating from NAIST, she started working independently as a small business owner in the F&B industry for four years. Her interest in science and business has led her to Leave a Nest where she believes in the importance to become a Science Bridge Communicator to link the gap between academia and industry. She is currently a member of Frontier Development Division in Leave a Nest Malaysia.

Muhamad Ezral Bin Ghazali
Recipient of the prestigious Japanese Government’s Monbukagakusho Scholarship; Dr. Ezral Ghazali studied colloidal science at the University of Tsukuba, where he received his PhD degree. His research addresses fundamental topics in the sedimentation of flocculated clay material in water treatment. Previously, he has served as a Researcher at Industrial Biotechnology Research Centre, SIRIM Berhad, where he was involved in multidisciplinary research. While in Japan, Ezral has an active outreach program to bring excitement in STEM among elementary, middle school and high school students. Transforming young lives through science is now his biggest passion.

Philippines

Bryan Angelo Foronda
Bryan Angelo Foronda received his Bachelor of Bio-resource Sciences from the University of Tsukuba under the Japanese Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholarship. His research work revolved around elucidating effects of naturally-occurring compounds and synthetically-altered derivatives using murine cell models and immortalized human-derived stem cells. Having been in an international community and being immersed as a young kid, he actively organized intercultural exchange and sustainability-inclined events using his passion for communication, science and making friends. He believes that science should not be exclusive, rather, it's effects should radiate and reach even the farthest and most remote communities and individuals and that is what he strives to do in Leave a Nest Philippines.

Leonid Zairion Dimaano
Leonid Zairion Dimaano, Leo, is a graduate of Bio-resource Sciences from the University of Tsukuba and a Masters in Engineering in Urban Engineering from the University of Tokyo in Japan. His research focus is on Urban Development rooted in Sustainable Planning and Green Policies. Right after getting his degree , he went back to the Philippines to share what he has learned by “nurturing local ingenuity and bringing transformative change from the grassroots to the world”. He hopes to work not just on planning more sustainable cities in the Philippines but in nation building as a whole. He plays the cello in his free time.

Ludhovik Luiz Madrid
Ludhovik Luiz “Ludho” Madrid earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering at the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2018. While studying for his bachelor's degree, he helped in his college organizations' STEM-related events for high school students. These events include research competitions, science clubbing summits, and science olympiads. for He is currently taking his master's degree in chemistry at the same university. His research focuses on the synthesis of ionic liquids and their application as solvent for RAFT polymerization. Currently he is a member of the Research Development Division in Leave a Nest Philippines.
