3/21（火・祝）開催：シリコンバレーのバイオ・マテリアルテック3社が登壇する無料オンラインセミナー開催＜Trends in US Deep Tech Seminar from Silicon Valley＞

　リバネスの海外子会社であるLeave a Nest America Inc.（代表：武田隆太、以下「リバネスアメリカ」）は、シリコンバレーの拠点を置くBlue Bear Ventures、リアルテックホールディングス株式会社と共催し、2023年3月21日（火・祝）に米国のバイオ・マテリアルテックスタートアップ3社が登壇する無料セミナー「Trends in US Deep Tech Seminar from Silicon Valley」を開催致します。

　リバネスアメリカは2016年よりシリコンバレーを中心にアメリカのディープテックスタートアップの発掘を行って参りました。またBlue Bear Venturesは、カリフォルニア大学バークレー校ののアクセラレーターCITRISからスピンアウトしたディープテック特化型のシード・ファンドで、大学発の技術を社会実装することを使命に、スタートアップへの投資だけでなく、LP企業との事業創出を積極的に行っています。

　昨年好評を得たオンラインセミナーに引き続き2023年もBlue Bear Venturesと共催し、アメリカのディープテックスタートアップ3社が登壇する無料セミナーを実施します。アメリカのディープテックスタートアップは日本や東南アジアへの進出を標榜し、日経企業とのシナジー領域を探索しています。アメリカのディープテックエコシステムの動向を知ると共に、アメリカスタートアップとの協業に興味のある方々のご参加をお待ちしております。

Blue Bear Venturesについて：
University of California Berkeley （UCB）のアクセラレーターCITRISの立ち上げメンバーやY Combinator Reseach部門のDirector、UCBのビジネススクールのHaasでもアドバイザリーを努める投資家によって組成されたディープテック特化型VC。投資後に、ディープテックベンチャーに対してLP企業との事業創出支援を積極的に行っている。また、UCB発ベンチャーのみならず、UCSF、MIT、Stanford.、Harvard発の大学発スタートアップへの出資を行っており、小規模ながらUSのディープテックエコシステムでの広範なネットワークを持つ。

Alic Chen
Blue Bear Ventures

Alic co-founded CITRIS Foundry shortly after receiving his Ph.D. in Mech. Engineering from UC Berkeley in 2012 and has been growing a diverse portfolio of startups that develop technologies ranging from health and therapeutics to novel sensors and AI. He has advised and/or invested in 50+ science and technology startups which have cumulatively raised $500M+ in funding.

Ryuta Takeda
Leave a Nest America Inc. President

Ryuta received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University as biotech scientist. After joining Leave a Nest, he initiated one of the largest ASEAN Deeptech entrepreneur platforms “TECH PLANTER ” in Japan, and managed to spread it to 10 countries to explore Deep Tech including foodtech to match Issues in our world. He conducted a lot of international PoCs and collaborative research between MNC and startup and different startups. Also he served as Executive Officer at Leave a Nest Co., Ltd..

Akitaka Wilhelm Fujii
Real Tech Holdings Co., Ltd. President

Akitaka is president of Real Tech Holdings, one of Japan’s leading deep-tech venture capital. Before joining Real Tech Holdings in 2020, he was at EIT Climate-KIC, Europe’s leading initiative fostering climate innovation in the region. While at the company, Akitaka was involved in organizational wide strategy development, led change management programs, and spearheaded the company’s effort to assess its climate impact. Akitaka has a master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Tokyo.
