TECH PLANTER ASEAN 2024シーズン第1弾フィリピン大会を現地開催
株式会社リバネスは、シンガポール、マレーシア、フィリピンに現地法人を構え、現地機関と東南アジア6カ国（シンガポール、マレーシア、フィリピン、タイ、インドネシア、ベトナム）のディープテックベンチャー、大学、そして政府機関との連携によるプロジェクトを推進しております。
2018年以来、上記6カ国においてディープテックベンチャーを発掘・育成するエコシステム「TECH PLANTER ASEAN」を展開し、1,300以上のベンチャーや大学内の研究チームが参加する、東南アジア最大のベンチャー発掘・育成プラットフォームを運営しています。
2024年度シーズンの第一弾は、フィリピン大会です。8年連続で開催するフィリピン大会では、合計で301チームのエントリーを集積しております。今年度は、43の応募チームの中から選ばれた9チームのファイナリストが、5月11日の最終選考会でプレゼンテーションを行います。フィリピン現地からは科学技術省、大手通信企業のイノベーションラボ、政府系インキュベーションセンター等をパートナーに迎え、日本企業とともに審査員としてそれぞれが参加します。ファイナリストチームが取り組む東南アジアのディープイシューの解決に向け、現地パートナーからの支援、そして日本企業が持つ技術や事業経験を共有することで、日本と東南アジアが一体となって発展していくことを目指します。
また、本会の会場となるUniversity of Santo Tomasとリバネスフィリピンは、開会に先立ちフィリピンのディープテックエコシステムを促進するためのMoUを結びます。
